Terms of Service

1. Our role

Clthwork is a technology platform. The actual cleaning, tailoring, or other service is provided by independent partner shops listed on the platform. We are responsible for the platform experience, payment processing, and customer support; the partner shop is responsible for the quality and timeliness of the service itself.

2. Eligibility & account

• You must be 18 or older and capable of entering a contract under Indian law.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You agree to provide accurate contact and address details so we can fulfil your order.

3. Orders & pricing

• Prices shown on the platform include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• An order is confirmed once you receive a confirmation by SMS, email, or in-app notification.
• Service times are estimates. Delays caused by traffic, weather, or operational issues may occur.
• You agree to make garments available at the agreed pickup window. Failed pickups may attract a re-attempt fee.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment partners. You authorise us to charge the payment instrument you select for the full order value, including any add-ons or service charges shown at checkout. Cash on delivery may be available at our discretion.

5. Care & liability

• Partner shops follow industry-standard care for the garment categories declared at order time.
• Please disclose delicate fabrics, embellishments, and special care instructions before pickup.
• For damage or loss attributable to a partner shop, our maximum liability per item is capped at 10×the price of the service for that item, or ₹5,000, whichever is lower, unless a higher limit is stated in writing for premium items.
• We are not liable for pre-existing wear, manufacturer defects, or care-label deviations.

6. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not submit garments that are hazardous, biologically contaminated, or contain prohibited items.
• Do not use the platform to harass partner shop staff or delivery personnel.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, repeated chargebacks, abusive behaviour, or violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will give you notice and a chance to respond.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
